MANILA, Philippines — The North Korean rocket has failed to launch? Maybe these theories by netizens can shed light on why the autocratic country was not able to successfully carry out its mission.

On Friday, the North Korean government led by Kim Jong-Un pushed through with its planned rocket launch but the object exploded mid-flight and was not able to make its intended destination

“It seems that the rocket has failed,” ministry spokesman Kim Min-Seok told journalists, according to reports.

Well, madali lang ‘yan. Let’s talk about kabaliwan! At aminin nyo, tayong mga Pilipino, mahilig tayo sa ganyan, ‘di ba? Sa mga kabaliwan?! May mga pagkakataon, kapag pinag-usapan ang pagmamahal ng Diyos, may mga nagtatanong sa akin, “Brother, iyan ba ang tinatawag na kabaliwan ng Diyos?” Nakapagtataka! Bakit? Kabaliwan lang ba ang ibig sabihin ng God’s love? Pero kung alam nyo lang, napakaraming mga preacher ngayon, kapag nangangaral, makakumbinsi lang ng mga tagapakinig (dahil minsan, mahirap talgang kumbinsihin ang mga tagapakinig,) ginagawang masyadong sensational ang mga sinasabi. Siyempre nakikinig tayo sa mga preaching dahil kailangan nating maging updated. Isang beses, may narinig akong isang preacher na nagsabi, “Mga kapatid, ipikit natin ang ating mga mata…habang umaawit tayo ng ‘Open my eyes, Lord.” Naku, para kaming mga praning! Sabi namin, “Opeeeennnnn”… at bukas nang bukas ang mga mata naming pinapikit niya nung una. Tapos may isa pa akong nadaluhang worship service. Ang sabi naman  noong isang preacher doon, “Mga kapatid, manalangin tayo sa Panginoon. Panginoon, halika sa amin. Halika sa aming piling. Hipuan mo ang bawat isa sa amin…” Susmaryosep! Naloko na! Hipuin dapat, eh hipuan ang nasabi! Kaya nga’t kahit hindi pa niya natatapos ang prayer niya, nagtakbuhan na kaming lahat . Aba, eh sino ba naman ang gustong mahipuan? Minsan pa, may narinig akong isang preacher na nangangaral. Para umappeal, ang sabi niya sa mga tao, “Mga kapatid, alam ba ninyong baliiiiiiiiw na baliw sa inyo ang Diyos!” Gano’n? Baliw na baliw daw si Lord sa atin na parang adik? Sa aking palagay, wala namang kung sasabihin sa tin na baliw ang Diyos. Pero hindi lang maganda ang implikasyon ng pangral na iyan kung tunay na susuriin. Kasi, kapag sinabi nating baliw ang isang tao, ibig sabihin wala siya sa tamang katinuan. Kung ganoon, parang sinabi na tuloy nating minahal tayo ng Diyos dahil wala Siya sa sarili Niyang pag-iisip at katinuan. Ah, this where we need to draw one fine line. We must always remember that it is not lunacy that made God love us. Opo! Hindi kabaliwan ang nagtulak sa Diyos para mahalin tayo! Ang nagtulak sa kanya ay desisyon! Nagpasya Siyang tayo ay mahalin! It is indeed a love that is born out of God’s free decision. He willed to love you, to love me, and to love the rest of humanity! Kaya nga kapag sinabi ng Diyos na mahal Niya tayo, mas nakakakilig, mas elating, mas pipilahan, at mas patok sa takilya, mas maraming mahihimatay sa pagkakakilig. At kapag sinabi ng Diyos na mahal Niya tayo, ganito ang ibig Niyang sabihin: “Anak, mahal kita hindi dahil may dahilan, pero sa kadahilanang minahal kita, Mahal kita, kahit na sino ka pa. Hindi kita mahal dahil lamang lagi kang nagsisimba. Hindi kita mahal dahil lamang malaki kang magbigay sa koleksyon sa simbahan. DEUS CARITAS EST. God is Love. (1 John 4:7)

If human love begins with conditions and emotions, how then should we understand divine love?

Well, madali lang ‘yan. Let’s talk about kabaliwan! At aminin nyo, tayong mga Pilipino, mahilig tayo sa ganyan, ‘di ba? Sa mga kabaliwan?!

May mga pagkakataon, kapag pinag-usapan ang pagmamahal ng Diyos, may mga nagtatanong sa akin, “Brother, iyan ba ang tinatawag na kabaliwan ng Diyos?”

Nakapagtataka! Bakit? Kabaliwan lang ba ang ibig sabihin ng God’s love?

Pero kung alam nyo lang, napakaraming mga preacher ngayon, kapag nangangaral, makakumbinsi lang ng mga tagapakinig (dahil minsan, mahirap talgang kumbinsihin ang mga tagapakinig,) ginagawang masyadong sensational ang mga sinasabi.
